Getting Goose Bumps

Small bumps on your skin are caused by cold, fear, or a sudden feeling of excitement and are call goose bumps. We all experience them from time to time.

There are goose bumps that result from the excitement of hearing a brilliantly played symphony. When positive excitement is the cause, our enjoyment of the moment may actually be enhanced.

Unfortunately, more common reasons stem from being cold or from sudden fear.

Why did I write on this topic this morning? It is June 28 here in the south and I awoke to an outdoor temperature of 49 degrees.
