Repeal the Law of Gravity

This is a call for Congress to repeal a law that is troublesome to those of us who are often called “seniors.” I am referring to the Law of Gravity.

We have all observed how quickly young people bounce back up after a fall. When a senior falls it may take a few minutes to get back up. Help may be required to stand. Days of bruises and pain may follow. Clearly, this so-called law discriminates against seniors and is, therefore, unconstitutional.

If other laws of lesser importance can be repealed, why not repeal this one? Our elected officials know that seniors are the most apt to vote. Repeal of this law would assure them of the votes needed to win their next election.

There is no need for Congress to grope for answers on the question of repeal. A quick repeal will allow them to get back to the kind of groping that they seem to favor.
