Attached, please find my resume. I look forward to working for your company. I would like to clarify a few employment requirements so that we can get off to a good start.
My doctor has me on a program of 2,000 steps a day. (Something about my heart condition.) My employment must not cause me to exceed that limit. I already take a lot of steps when getting up to pee at night. My Fit Bit tells me that when I report to work each day, I will have up to 800 steps a day left (including those taken to and from the parking lot).
I need to tell you about my bad back. It prevents me from bending over or from handling anything weighing over two pounds. My desk chair will need an extra measure of lumbar support. One of those chairs with the power lift seat would be appreciated.
I can get to work by about 9:30 AM most days but will need to leave at 2:30 PM because I don’t want to nap too close to my 8:30 PM bedtime.
Note: I will not be able to report for work until September. My granddaughter is coming to spend the summer with me.
Please consider refreshing your understanding of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. That will prevent most misunderstandings we might otherwise have.
I look forward to hearing from you.
