Bill’s First Book of Recipes

Never having written a recipe book before, it is time to write one featuring my own recipes.

With lots of cook books on the market, I knew mine had to be a little different. I decided that each of my recipes would be followed by a little related philosophy.

To test your interest in my approach, here is a sample from what I made for lunch yesterday.

Recipe:                        Healthy Chicken Sandwich

Step 1              Toast a slice of marble rye and place it on a plate.

Step 2              Top the toast with a cup of mixed spring greens.

Step 3              Next, add three slices of deli style chicken breast.

Step 4              Finally, place a poached egg on top.

Philosophy       We finally answer an age old question. Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

(If necessary, please review steps 3 and 4.)

Let me know what you think. Will my book of recipes and philosophies sell?

  1. To be or not to be, that is the question. 🙂 (Think I’ll just stick to soup.)
