As we travel life’s highway we have many choices to make. One of the most important is the daily decision as to which road to travel for that day. Too many people seem to consistently choose Unhappy Boulevard over Happy Street.
There are lots of excuses for those who take the wide and seemingly inviting Unhappy Boulevard. Here are just a few; it is going to rain all day, my knee hurts, my partner is making me unhappy (or I lost my partner and am all alone), nobody remembered my birthday, my children are being difficult, I want a new car and cannot afford one and ad infinitum. While some of these things may be true in the life of anyone, there is no reason to choose Unhappy.
This daily decision is yours alone to make. Believing that it isn’t will take you down Unhappy Boulevard more often than not.
When you awaken tomorrow (if you are blessed to awaken for another day) you will once again be confronted by this choice. Which choice will it be for you; Unhappy Boulevard or Happy Street?
Two Songs fit this invitation to choose HAPPY.

It’s the old “half full, half empty.” It’s up to us as to how we perceive things. Good post!
