It has gotten ugly out there folks. With just days remaining before Election Day, it feels like many people are preparing for war more than simply preparing to vote. Acceptance (even if reluctant) of the outcome by the losing side of the vote count seems unlikely. Post election violence seems possible.
How did we get to this point? Is there any way to return to civil discourse before this election? This balanced and non-partisan article is excellent is describing what got us to the dangerous place we find ourselves in.
Personal Note: I am a registered Independent with a Libertarian orientation. I have worked for Libertarian and smaller government candidates in the past. My view of our present day politicians is less than positive. Politicians are a necessary evil; some decidedly evil. In my long and blessed lifetime politics has become a snake pit. America is at risk of collapse. My life is nearing an end and I can deal with the mess we are making. My concern is what this will bring to the lives of my grandchildren.
Very good article, well worth reading. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

I try to be careful and share only those articles that appear to take a scholarly look at a topic. This one did that for me and I wanted others to see it. Hate is inflicting great damage on our country. I seriously doubt that we will see recovery.
