A Message from Your Governor

It has come to my attention that some of our citizens are beginning to doubt my actions. I want to offer these words of reassurance. I am not politicizing this Covid thing. If I were to order you to wear masks while you sleep (Under consideration but not yet implemented.), my only intent is to keep you safe.

Be assured that I continue to follow the science. After all, I went to college and majored in political science. As a lifelong, dedicated public servant, I have always followed political science.

When I issue statements about what is going to be allowed, those statements are the LAW*.

*Editor’s clarifying note. These are not laws written by the legislature but are laws decreed by your governor. They are analogous to those of your childhood when your parents ordered you to do something “because I said so.”

  1. I am assuming that this was a reference to remarks made by New York Governor Andrew (I never met a crisis I couldn’t take advantage of) Cuomo. I have to think that Mario Cuomo must be turning over in his grave if he is watching his two sons, the aforementioned Andrew, and the bug-eyed Chris (of CNN infamy). These two schmucks are the laughing stock of the thinking world. Years from now, clips of Andrew dictating to his minions will be used as training material for how not to behave as governor. Good job pointing out his idiotic behavior. 🙂

    • Mario heads the list but there are many others. CA, PA, MI, NC also come to mind. The arbitrary and self-conflicting edicts they make are difficult for those who live in their kingdom. Their personal violations of their own LAWS occur and are recorded as they make excuses and lame apologies after being caught. I could go on but in many ways I cannot go on with this.
