Attention Paraskayedekatriaphobia

Time is running out to prepare for your next challenge. Not all of us will face this challenge. Those who do will find themselves wishing that the entire day would just go away.

The title above tells us that they suffer from Paraskavedekatriaphobia. They are facing yet another Friday the 13th on August 13, 2021.  For them, the suffering is real. There is nothing anyone can do to cancel the threat they feel.

Before the reader is convinced that I am making fun of these suffering people, I assure you that I am not.

Phobias are not just superstitions. Common superstitions quickly pass and are generally harmless. For example, accidentally walking under a ladder can bring bad luck. Breaking a mirror can bring bad luck but finding a horseshoe can bring good luck.

Phobias run much deeper and last longer for those who suffer from them. They can often alter lives and may require professional help to overcome. Here is some info that may help.
